The Purple Basket
The Class Gift Campaign is a fundraising effort that shows the collective power of the Class of 2022. While just one gift can make a difference, when Griffins come together, their collective generosity makes a tremendous impact. Since 2016, more than 550 graduates have donated nearly $15,000 to their senior gift campaigns. The Associated Students of Westminster has chosen the Purple Basket to be the recipient of the Class of 2022 gift.
The Purple Basket tackles food insecurity and disparities in access to basic needs through a dignified and destigmatized approach to providing vital resources. Whether it's picking up enough food for a skipped meal or a week's worth of groceries, students can access sustainable and ethically sourced foods as well as hygiene and basic household items through The Purple Basket.
Student donors who give $20.22 or more will receive philanthropy cords to wear at commencement in recognition of their philanthropic support of Westminster College.
